Is there any reward for good except good?

If something is troubling you to the point of anxiety and frustration because you have no idea how things will end up, then look to three things: your heart, your tongue, and your hands.

If your heart is repentant and patient, if your tongue is uttering prayers of forgiveness and Allah’s praise, and if your hands are busy with good, then receive glad tidings. For your Lord says, “Is there any reward for good except good?”

But if your heart is restless and impatient, if your tongue is uttering angry outbursts and complaints, and if your hands are busy with sin, then woe to you. You should stop and repent—and still receive glad tidings, for your Lord says, “I am All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Status of women in Islam.

At the time of Babylonian Civilization, Greek Civilization, Roman Civilization, Egyptian Civilization, Pre-Islamic Arabia Women were kept as mere sex tools. They didn’t have any basic human rights.

Islam uplifted the status of women and granted them their just rights 1400 years ago in times of the “Days of Ignorance”. Islam expects women to maintain their status.

One of the objectives of Islam was and continues to be of modernizing the thinking, living, seeing, hearing and feelings of women and striving for women’s upliftment and emancipation in society.

But women in the 21st centuries taking them back to the age of pre Islamic era.
In the name of fashion, Art and culture the women follow the ideologies of corrupted minded men, and they’ve  forgotten the commandment of their Creator.

If they don’t want to obey their Creator they are bound be disgraced, dishonored  and belittled.
That’s what we can see in those so called ‘civilized’ Countries, The highest rates of Rape, Homicide, Child abuse, Female Molestation, Divorce, Domestic violence are found in USA, Mexico, Sweden, Italy, UK, France, Brazil and other so called civilized countries.

Some women may ask, ‘What’s wrong in our dresses, why should the men be bothered about it, why should the men chase after us?’

The Real gentlemen will lower their gaze, protect their women. But, unfortunately all men are not Real Gentlemen.

My dear sisters, do you want to please the world in this short life and enter in to Hell-fire forever? Or Obey the Creator in this life and enter in to Paradise for eternal pleasure?

This is Jihad

this is jihad

Jihad is a wide sweeping term that includes many aspects of being a Muslim and is not limited to the “Boogey Man propaganda” we often see. One thing to consider is the always promoted concept that Jihad is presented within the scope of war and physical fighting is a limited and a narrow view. Fighting can be verbal and even peaceful resistance is a form of fighting. Getting up for Fajr is a form of fighting…

If we use the often translated word “Striving” we can see there are many aspects. One can strive physically through prayer, one can strive mentally through education. Some strive through verbal actions of teaching and some strive through actions of War (offense and defense). There are many more examples that do not have any physical aspect.

Now, of course it does not mean that there is not a responsibility for people to “Fight” physically, even in the history of the Prophet (peace be upon him), he would fight when needed to, but would always attempt peaceful means initially and if a war broke out he would constantly strive for a peaceful resolution. (e.g. treaties and agreements)

So to isolate the word “Jihad” to one aspect and one aspect only is dishonest.

Change always begins with you.

Change always begins with youTo make this world a happier place for you to live in , requires you to change yourself -your heart, your mindset and your attitude- Not the entire world. Change ALWAYS begins with you– not your spouse, your parent,  your in-laws, your neighbor or that someone giving you a hard time.

One must bear in mind that everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. When we change ourselves first, we can change those near to us and expand further, Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you’ll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others.

“Truly, Allah does not change the condition of  the people until they change what is in themselves.” (Qura’n 13:11).

A sister’s struggle…

Woman at Supplication.   A sister wrote : Years back when I used to listen to music, there eventually came a time that I started to feel thoughts like this is Haraam and would feel guilty every time I blasted the tracks.

So I thought to myself, let me add Qur’an in my Mp3 player (and I didn’t eliminate the music).

But what happened was that as long as both the Qur’an and the music was there I would flip between the two.

So I said to myself: I have to remove music completely, because as long as I allow for the the impermissible thing to thrive, then I may succumb and listen. So I deleted all music and removed every CD of it that I had.

Then I repented to Allah I will never listen to music again, and prayed at Tahajjud regularly that O Allah only you can prevent me from sins, so save me from every minor and major sin.

This method I have applied to many other areas in my life that I feel weak in. I just make Du’aa’ to my Allah and then remove it completely, for as long as it remains, I remain vulnerable.

InshaaAllaah I hope that this benefits everyone else struggling with their own struggle.

The Perfect Relationship…

Perfect Love... via Maestrouzy.A lot of sisters and brothers are feeling low because of lack of marital proposals… They feel aged, unattractive and unwanted…

If you are this – let me be the first to remind you how special and loved you are by Allah.

If a brother/sister has rejected you solely based on the fact that they think you are ugly – know that it is their soul which is ugly – not you…! How can His creation be anything but beautiful?!

He loves you, thus He protected you from being bound in such a relationship… He loves you, thus He prevented you from being in the company of petty thinkers… This brother/sister was not worth it and ALLAH has a brother/sister saved for you, who will love and honor you for who you are… :))

Don’t let petty, small minded, short-lived, dunya lovers get you down… You are the Believers of Islam. You’re worth far more!

May He grant you a pious spouse who will guide you on His beautiful path. May He gift you with a spouse who will honor, respect, love, protect, guide and provide for you – and one who will benefit you in this world and the Hereafter. Amin!!

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

Allah Ta’ala mentions three names in ‘Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim’. Allah Ta’abismillah_islamic_gallery_bismillah_1la has 99 attributes that the Prophet (sallaAllahu alaihi wasallam) told us of, and out of all of them, the two He has chosen to start His Glorious Book are ‘ar-Rahman’ and ‘ar-Rahim’.

Why? When someone writes a letter and begins with ‘My dear…’ or ‘My beloved…’ then we are assured that whatever follows will be of a loving nature. Allah Ta’ala begins with ‘ar-Rahman’ and ‘ar-Rahim’, both being attributes of mercy. This shows He wants to be merciful… Allah Ta’ala wants us to initiate everything with ‘bismillah’, that we remember Allah Ta’ala before doing every single thing.

This will automatically exclude bad deeds; we certainly won’t look at the woman walking down the street after saying ‘bismillah’. Even if we are doing good deeds, but we don’t start with His name, then it is cut off. It has no value and is devoid of blessing.

Benefits of Sending Salawath on Muhammad (s.a.w)…

From the Quran and Hadith there are numerous benefits in sending salah and salaam upon the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam)

You are following the way of Allah azza wa jal and His Honorable Angels.

“Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet.” (33:56)

Both angels on your rigth and left write in your favour
(amplification of reward, removal of sins and receiving the blessings of Allah).

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention (i.e., send salah),
Allah will exalt his mention (i.e., send salah) ten times
and remove from him ten sins
and raise him ten degrees.”

[reported by Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-’As (May Allah be pleased with them)- Muslim]

Your salah on him reaches him sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:

“Allah has angels who go around on earth, conveying to me the salaam of my ummah.”

We have lost our chance in this life to see and interact with our Messenger sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, but out of Allah’s Great Mercy He has allowed our duaa to reach him no matter how far or close we are to his grave.

[It was narrated that Abdullah ibn Mas’ood (may Allah be pleased with him)Sunan Nasaa’i, Saheeh Al-Albani]

The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam will return your greeting.

The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said,

“There is not one of you who sends his greetings upon me except that Allah returns the soul to my body (in the grave) and I return his greeting.”

[reported by Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) Abu Dawood, Saheeh Al-Albani]

Jibreel alayhi salaam will send salah and salaam upon you.

Abdur Rahman ibn Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) said, I came to the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam while he was in prostration and he elongated his prostration and then said,

“Jibreel came to me and he said, ‘whoever sends blessings (salah) upon you, I will send blessings on him, and whoever sends greetings (salaam) upon you, I will send greetings upon him,’ so I prostrated out of thankfulness to Allah.’”

[Haakim, Saheeh Al-Albani]

Answering of one’s duaa.

Most of us do not know that duaa is suspended between the heavens and earth until we send salawat on the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. Umar radi Allahu anhu said,

“Duaa is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings upon your Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.”

[At-Tirmidhi, Hasan Al-Albani]

The scholars state that it is recommended (mustahabb) to include salawat in our duaa for the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam invited the believers to make salah on him.

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:

“Do not take your houses as graves and do not take my grave as a place of festivity (which you visit repeatedly).

Send blessings upon me for your greeting will reach me no matter where you are.”

[Abu Dawood, Saheeh Al-Albani]

You will not be among the humiliated.

Abu Hurayrah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said,

“May his nose soil with dust in whose presence mention is made of me and he does not supplicate for me.”

[At-Tirmidhi, Saheeh Al-Albaani]

Imam Nawawi rahimahullah states the saying ‘may his nose be rubbed in dust’ means to suffer humiliation and disgrace. That is “may such person be humiliated and disgraced who hears my name and does not invoke Allah’s blessings upon me.”

You will not be among the miserly.

Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said,

“The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned but he does not supplicate for me.”

[At-Tirmidhi, Saheeh Al-Albani]

You will not be among those that Jibreel alayhi salaam made duaa against and the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam replied “Ameen”

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ascended the minbar and said: “Ameen, ameen, ameen.”

It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the minbar and said, ‘Ameen, ameen, ameen.”

He said: “Jibreel came to me and said:

‘If Ramadan comes and a person is not forgiven, he will enter Hell and Allah will cast him far away.
Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.

He said: ‘O Muhammad, if both or one of a person’s parents are alive and he does not honour them and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allah will cast him far away.
Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.

He said: ‘If you are mentioned in a person’s presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allah will cast him far away.
Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.”

[ibn Hibbaan, Saheeh Al-Albani]

You will be among the closest to the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam on a Day that will cause a child’s hair to become grey.

Ibn Mas’ood (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:

“The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me.”

[At-Tirmidhi, Hasan li ghayrihi Al-Albani]

Imam Nawawi rahimahullah states, “Nearest to me” signifies “those who are most entitled to my intercession”.

Allah will love you and forgive you

because following the sunnah of the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. Allah says,

“Say (O Muhammad to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah then follow me , Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (3:31)

Your love for the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam will increase.

When you love someone, your mind is filled with thoughts of them. By constantly making duaa for the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam

whenever his name is mentioned, you are making a conscious effort to remember him. Put in the effort to internalize the salawat whenever you make them and understand who you are making duaa for,

and inshaAllah your love for him will increase tremendously, alayhi salaatu wa salaam.

May Allah give him the highest position in Jannah.
